Black Moor Goldfish 13cm
The black moor gold fish has a short stubble body that is egg-shaped, with massive protruding eyes. The Velvet black coloration on metallic scales, with long flowing fins, describe the black moor. The tail is often broad, ribbon or butterfly shaped. The body goes to a length of 10cm although there are fantastic reports of up to 25 cm with an average life span of 10 to 15 years.
The black moor gold fish is not competitive although tank mate is acceptable so far as equally uncompetitive. Being quite a hardy species, there is no much demand for water quality and temperature. Such should be taken though for the delicate eye that can easily be damaged
The black moor is omnivorous with a diet that includes flakes food, life fishes, shrimps, and worms, as well as vegetable and native food.
