Panda Cory 3-3.5cm
Named in honour of the famed Panda bear, the Panda Corydora gets its name owing to its spectacular appearance that closely resembles a Panda, especially in colour. The Panda Corydora has a pale body with black patches as well.
They predominantly have three black markings, the first one covers their head and eyes, the second one is located near the dorsal fin, where as the third marking is at the base of the tail. The size of these markings varies fish to fish. Like other corys, these are bottom dwellers and very non aggressive and passive fish, which is why they make great tankmates. However, be wary of keeping them with aggressive fishes that might intimidate them. They like to have hiding spaces so keep the tank well furnished.
It is a recommendation that Panda Corydoras should always be kept in groups of 6 more so keep that in mind when you get some.
